President's Message ...
Summer Networking FUN!
by Kathy Wallace,
WallaceVISION, LLC |
 |
Summer's really here at last (we hope). Not only is it a busy
time business-wise, but the nice weather and longer days make it
easy to increase networking with colleagues. How nice it is to
sit outside
somewhere over coffee or drinks with customers or associates catching
them up on the latest with your business. I find it is easy to
linger, talk, sell - and just enjoy other's company when the weather
is beautiful.
There are so many opportunities for outside activities for which
one should always have business cards handy. I have been hiking
and (surprisingly) found that I needed business cards for someone
I met along the way (so now I always stuff a few in my pack).
Outdoor festivals and trade fairs are other opportunities for
networking.
So get out there! Take time to enjoy yourself, the
weather, the great outdoors we live in, and always be ready
to network where ever you are!
Because you never know who you might
meet!

Ways & Means Committee
Update
With the 5th Annual Scholastic Classic Golf Tournament just
days away, the Ways and Means Committee Co-Chairs would like
to thank all of the member firms and our friends, you, the
representatives of these firms for your whole hearted commitment
and assistance with the often overwhelming task of coordinating
this event.
From last year's committee to the newest kids
on the block, you have all encouraged and assisted us in
so many ways that it would take days to mention. We hope
all of you will be able to attend the luncheon after the
clubs
are put away, to really relax and enjoy some wonderful
food and fellowship, (as well as some really Fabulous prizes).
With 92.2% participation of the member firms, not
even including
a few new members, we can be proud to say it was a group
effort.
Thank you all for your support and participation!

May Meeting

|
The May meeting was held at the Antler's Hilton downtown. It
was a wonderful venue as members and guests were able to network
and dine on Polenta crusted chicken breast with lemonan
pepper sauce, Antlers' Mile High salad and seasonal vegtables.
The program was "Modern Marketing -
Forget Everything You Learned Before" by Lorrie Todd, PageCafe
Internet Consulting, Inc. Where members were introduced to concepts
on how evolving trends in methods & technology are impacting
sales and marketing in the modern business world of today.
